Common Voices’ NowMessage suite is a fully integrated, open-standards based set of Messaging applications allowing Carriers the opportunity to customize their feature set according to their subscriber base.

Using NowMessage applications, subscribers have access to enhanced features that realize the promise of VoIP systems. Unified Messaging, multiple mailboxes, web-enabled subscriber personalization, fax messaging and Instant Message support are all integrated into the NowMessage suite. Telecom systems can be as easy to update, expand and individualize as the largest infotainment web portals that change content everyday.

NowMessage Voicemail
Call Answering and Voicemail has never been easier to implement, upgrade, and maintain than with NowMessage Voicemail. NowMessage Voicemail is a fully integrated call answering application, providing subscribers the voicemail features they’ve come to depend on. Callers are able to record, review, and re-record messages and even mark them for urgent delivery before sending them. NowMessage Voicemail also supports Multiple Mailboxes – a feature which allows subscribers to switch between multiple mailboxes during a session, create family mailboxes, or combine messages into one mailbox.


NowMessage Web
Building on the features in NowMessage Voicemail, carriers can adopt additional features such as giving subscribers the ability to send, forward or retrieve messages via a Web interface. When forwarding a voice message via the Web interface to an email address, the message is sent as an audio attachment.


NowMessage Fax
NowMessage Fax allows subscribers to receive faxes as incoming messages. When receiving a fax via the phone, a subscriber hears the sender’s name, number or e-mail address, the sending date, the sending time and the number of pages. Subscribers can choose to forward the message to a fax telephone number, to other subscribers, or to an email address with the integrated Personal Address Book. With NowMessage Web integration, subscribers can view the fax on their PC.


NowMessage Unified Messaging
NowMessage Unified Messaging is a fully integrated unified message store with Web and phone access to voicemail, e-mail and fax communications. NowMessage UM supports an Integrated Personal Address Book, allowing subscribers to upload contacts from popular PC e-mail products, or create custom lists using a comma-separated value (CSV) format. Subscribers can choose to send messages to any other NowMessage subscriber, or to any email address listed in their Address Book. Subscribers can also place outgoing calls to contacts, and with Speech Recognition integration, can dial by speaking the contact name.


NowMessage Notification
NowMessage supports many different mechanisms for new message notification for a subscriber. NowMessage provides Short Message/Text Message notification to a subscriber’s phone, pager notification, or outcalling. As an additional feature to NowMessage UM, subscribers can also configure their Instant Message account to receive an pop-up when a message arrives in their NowMessage mailbox. The pop-up includes the Web link for retrieving the message from their PC.


NowMessage Speech Interface
Available as a service option, NowMessage can include integration with a variety of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) engines running on separate servers. ASR and TTS are currently supported in a variety of languages. The speech recognition interface also allows for multiple language support, allowing callers to mix two or more languages in interactive responses.
